SOUTH CAROLINA OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE GAME


QB Spencer Rattler:
connected with Antwane Wells Jr. for a 4-yard touchdown with 13:59 left in the second quarter. It was Wells’ fifth receiving touchdown of the season, which cut Clemson’s lead to 14-7. Rattler recorded his third rushing touchdown of the season, a 4-yard scamper with 8:24 left in the second quarter. Rattler hit Juju McDowell for a 65-yard reception in the second quarter, a career high for McDowell. Rattler’s 72-yard touchdown pass to Wells with 3:45 left in the third quarter was the longest pass play of the season. It also was the second time this season Wells had two touchdowns in a game (Vanderbilt). • Rattler ended the game by going 25-for-39 for 360 yards and two touchdowns. Rattler threw for 798 yards in the past two games. Wells caught nine balls for 131 yards and two touchdowns. It was his fourth 100-yard receiving game of the season.

TE Nate Adkins: Had four catches for 62 yards in the win. Carolina outgained Clemson 414-336 in the win. Nate Adkins forced a fumble on a Clemson punt with 2:09 remaining, giving Carolina the ball and eventually the win

TE/ RB Jaheim Bell: Scored on a 2-yard carry with 12:06 left in the third quarter, his third rushing touchdown of the year.

SOUTH CAROLINA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE GAME

DL Zacch Pickens:
Recorded a sack in the first quarter. He now has 2.5 sacks on the year.

DB Marcellas Dial: Recorded his third interception of the season in the fourth quarter. His three interceptions lead the team.

DB Nick Emmanwori: Led Carolina with six tackles.

SOUTH CAROLINA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYERS OF THE GAME

PT Kai Kroeger:
Had 53.7 yards per punt on seven punts, including five inside the 20.

TE Traveon Kenion: Recovered a fumble after a free kick, giving Carolina the ball on an eventual touchdown drive.

PK Mitch Jeter: Connected on his 10th field goal of the season, a 35-yarder with 10:54 remaining in the fourth quarter.
