I thought it's been clear from the get go that we're NOT going to allow them to obtain a nuclear weapon.
As far as getting "out" that shouldn't be difficult since we're not really "in."
@Longhaul - I get what you're saying. The leadership of Iran (I don't for a minute believe that the average Persian is on board with the leadership's policies) has been responsible for literally thousands of American casualties as well as tens of thousands of foreign casualties.
They loudly...
I retired from the Army in February 2000. At the Brigade Staff level we would have a quarterly "threat" briefing in addition to other matters/issues. These briefings listed possible armed conflict potential danger spots. Iran ALWAYS was mentioned as a top 3 threat. Always.
Make no mistake about it, if Iran had obtained a nuclear weapon they would have used it against Israel and or other neighbors. They would have also used it against us if they had been able to strike that far.
I assume you know that Iran has attacked us 44 times since the 1979 World Trade Center bombing and is the largest sponsor of State terrorism in the world. They are also led by 7th century mentality Muslim zealots that regularly and clearly announce their intentions to destroy America and...
Yeah it's crazy. I continue to be amazed at how Putin is destroying a generation. Combine the casualties with the number of Russians who have fled the country, the number of suicides and the alcoholism related deaths it doesn't bode well for Russia's future.

Time to call Putin's bluff.
I don't see that happening. The Iranian people desperately want peace and more of a "Western" lifestyle and Government.
What I do know is that Iran has been a bad actor on the world's stage for a long time to include the killing of Americans both directly and indirectly. Regime change would...
No problems here in Gaston, about a 1/4" of sleet /freezing rain. No power interruptions, just very cold. I went outside about an hour ago to feed my dogs and my back porch thermometer was reading 20 degrees.

And the beat goes on...
First of all I believe we should give Oklahoma some credit. They played an excellent game all but about the last 2 minutes of regulation.
Okot, Edwards, and Latson all had bad games last night, it happens. I don't know what the deal is with Latson, for someone who led the nation in scoring last...
Good job, the hardest part is getting started. Just remember, something is better than nothing. You'll get there but it's not a quick trip. Kep us posted.
If we beat Vandy we'll certainly be in the driver's seat to win the conference. Oklahoma scares me more because we'll likely be a little flat for them, human nature type of thing.
Vandy will have our full attention.
