I'm told it is just a facility to raise monkeys to be sold for research and no research is done on the island ... so nothing to see here or if the hospitals in the lower state become...

It wasn’t from the island. There’s a research facility in Yemassee and it has happened before although not as many. This seems almost deliberate for that many to get out.

I think the island is just a colony of monkeys that were for research but somehow are just there now. The other place up the road in Yemassee is the only active on I know of. It has a recent history of a few “escapees” but nothing like this.
