Could Dan Mullen Become South Carolina's OC? | The Impact Of Spencer Rattler's Future Decision!

Locked On Gamecocks
On today's show, Andrew dives into the Dan Mullen to South Carolina rumor, talks about the effects Spencer Rattler's decision could have on Shane Beamer and the program and reviews the first transfer portal target that's been offered by the Gamecocks! With Dan Mullen, Andrew explains why he think's this move won't happen, specifically noting Dan's former experience as a head coach and how that changes a coach's mindset in terms of searching for future jobs. With Spencer Rattler, he details how his decision could play a role into the decision of multiple draft eligible underclassmen like Jaheim Bell, Antwane "Juice" Wells, MarShawn Lloyd and Austin Stogner, how his potential return could be used as a selling point in terms of transfer portal recruiting and how he could make or break South Carolina's potential to be an SEC East contender in 2023. Lastly, he goes over the resume of new transfer portal target and Rhode Island Right Tackle Ajani Cornelius and how he would hypothetically fit on the roster IF he was to commit down the line! If Mullen is to get back into coaching, I think he'd rather be HC at a lower level school (Sun Belt, Conference USA) than go be a coordinator. Before FAU announced the hiring of Tom Herman, I though that would be a perfect spot for Mullen.
