Schools can get on the road to participate in campus and South Carolina's staff will participate in an elite camp in Macon, Ga. at Mercer University, according to the Bears' Twitter account. The Gamecocks are one of five power five schools that will participate in the camp, which is scheduled for June 3-4.
Last week, The State newspaper reported that the Gamecocks' coaching staff will also be at a satellite camp at Ridge View High School.
South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp has said that they will be a part of satellite camps in Georgia, North Carolina and Florida. Speaking at the Saluda County Gamecock Club, co-offensive coordinator Bryan McClendon said that there may be another camp or two outside of those states the staff participates in as well.
