Hurricane Ian to hit SC

Tropical storm force winds of 39-73 MPH for most of us as the forecasts stands now.

Ended up a lot closer to Raleigh then projected. We had sevreral power blips and winds to knock down tree branches, but nothing too severe.

Over 100 deaths in Florida and NC from the storm.

Nothing from Y3 since then. I assume he's been down there to check on Yancey's property and such.

Same old - same old. People on the coast don't understand tidal surge & stay put. Rinse, repeat. :(
Yep. People thinks it’s just wind and rain. And that they’ll just ride it out. But storm surge is devastating, and then inland flooding afterwards from all the rain.

Similar with people hiking in 100+ degree heat in the desert. They assume bringing enough water is all they need. They have no respect for heat exhaustion. :(
