Iran: US build-up of forces

Very early in all of this, but it does appear that the Iranians are not holding back on terror strikes against their neighbors like the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and possibly Oman & Saudi Arabia.

They have essentially declared some kind of war against most of the middle east. These nations may be forced to react with force.

There is no way this ends well for the Iranian regime, regarless of how long this goes on.

Trump is one of those "cut off the head of the snake" guys. I think it ends when the Iranian leader is taken out.

Our enemies have flexed their muscles enough the past several years. Now it's time to hold our beer.

And so it begins. From the FIFA World Peace Prize Winner.
I assume you know that Iran has attacked us 44 times since the 1979 World Trade Center bombing and is the largest sponsor of State terrorism in the world. They are also led by 7th century mentality Muslim zealots that regularly and clearly announce their intentions to destroy America and Israel. This is long overdue IMHO.

Israel reporting Khamenei has been killed.
It should be noted that the Israelis/IAF did this and not the USAF. Apparently they had time sensitive intel that prompted this and I would assume was the opening strike of the whole operation.

I'm hearing that Israel had infiltrated some very high levels of Iranian intelligence services.

I’m more worried about what comes after. Assuming we are successful in overthrowing the theocracy? Is there a plan? How are we going to stop ISIS and the Taliban form entering the power vacuum?

It’s easy to bomb, but without boots on the ground, it’s hard to control anything.

From what the administration and Israel are saying, this isn’t about controlling or holding Iran. It’s about diminishing their capabilities and taking out the regime. Opening things up for who knows what next. We will see how long they stick to that plan.

American air base hit pretty hard. A school was also hit in Iran. So it’s not all good. Also missile defense systems have missed quite a few intercepts all over. Maybe due to the sheer amount of missiles in the air.

I hate to admit it, but I have already tuned it out just like I have with Ukraine and Gaza wars because I really have no control over it.

I just hope we don't suffer any more casualties.

Destiny Littleton, former Gamecock basketball player, is currently playing pro-ball in Israel and has posted some videos about the missile attacks. I think two other Gamecocks are also playing in that Israeli league, and also believe Coach Staley is working to try and find a safe way to get them back to the States.

I was not sure about how I felt about this, but after seeing the Iranian people celebrating in the streets I have hope that maybe things will be better in regards to Iran. They still need to go in an root out the old regime and you never know what other forces are waiting for their opportunity to take power that may not have good intentions, but my hope is that maybe someone rises up that is truly about the people of Iran and there can be a change. The Ayatollah came in acting as a peaceful leader, but clearly had no intention of doing so and my concern is they may get the same this go around as well. None of us know what the plan may be, but I would be hard pressed to think there has not been thought put to what happens beyond this. Part of this is at least making sure Iranian leaders who have been chanting death to America do not get a chance to lob a nuke at us.
