I didnt want to clog up the chat with a rambling somewhat long message. I only watched the highlights but some general thoughts on where we're at. I thought after arkansas the only way forward was playing two bigs instead Paris has doubled down in an ugly yet competitive performance vs auburn and a solid win vs oklahoma. What he has done is dropped all the veteran bigs from the rotation other than strong. Assemian has seen his minutes evaporate too, Paris loved his energy to start the season however energy only takes you so far when you're that undersized and he's given us nothing on offense.

We are what we are, a team that requires our offense to win us games. Against oklahoma we shot well from 3, got to the line more than them and shot a better percentage and while not our floor game, we had 16 assists and 12 turnovers it falls in line with our season average of a little more than 4 assists than turnovers. Against auburn we shot around our 3pt average for the season and they shot terrible from 3 so we gained points there. Everywhere else we didnt play well enough, 4 more turnovers than assists, got dominated inside the arc and shot poorly from the line.

Meechie has had his poor moments this season, but in 6 sec games at least 5 assists in every game except one and at least a 2:1 assist/to ratio in every game except one. Last night he had over half our trips to the line going 13-15.

Next game @ A&M saturday 3:30pm. They're 4-1 in sec play, their rotation doesnt have a lot of size and they shoot a ton of 3's. Essentially theyre like us they just do it better. Can our offense beat their offense?

We were 9/20 (79%) from the perimeter, so that means we will try to duplicate that effort instead of driving in the paint against the Aggies. You can see it coming a mile away and Meechie will be the worst offender.

I would like to be hopeful, but I see a 20-point loss coming at College Station.
