RB Logan Diggs of Notre Dame and DE Jatius Geer made official visits

Running back and defensive end were the positions the Gamecocks focused on last week with three reported official visits from transfer prospects. Hale McGranahan of TheBigSpur reported transfers RB Logan Diggs of Notre Dame and DE Jatius Geer of Syracuse made official visits with the Gamecocks over the weekend, and transfer RB Demie Sumo-Karngbaye of NC State visited mid-week. Diggs has also visited Ole Miss. He’s a Louisiana native and LSU is expected also to be a major factor. Geer is a product of Belton-Honea Path, and the Gamecocks appear to have his complete attention for the transfer. Sumo-Karngbaye appears to have visited Colorado recently based on a picture posted on Twitter that included Buffs head coach Deion Sanders.
