SportsTalk is live and taking your reaction to the loss and the news that Jake Bentley has a broken foot

I never want to see any player get injured, but I am glad to see another QB get a chance to play. May be Ryan can make the plays when the game is on the line. Hope Jake has a complete recovery.

If Hilinski does what we think he can do, I don’t think Bentley will play again.

I appreciate everything Jake has done for this team.  He took the reigns as a freshman, when we really needed someone and kept things going for us.  I am hoping we can all be patient with Ryan.  CSU will be a good time for him to get some reps and get comfortable, but I do hope we are all understanding when he struggles this year.  I just hope we can keep him upright and healthy especially in the Bama game.  I guess the good news is, there will not be much film study Bama can do on him before we play.  I am sure they will have their defense do all kind of things to confuse him and make him second guess what he is looking at.  I am excited for him moving forward, seems like a good kid with a good head on his shoulders and definite arm talent.  I think the real difference between good and great quarterbacks is their decision making when under pressure.  The great ones can process quickly.  The good ones can sometimes and not at others.  I hope he becomes a great one.

What you will see from Hilinski ?? No one really knows but if I had to hazard a guess we will run a lot of popcorn screens and short out passes. They will mix in a few down hill passes using the sidelines as kind of a safety net. Of course we will try to run the ball but I just don't see that happening with the way our Oline played Saturday. What a mess this kid is going to have on his hands.

I'm hearing it is a Lisfranc injury. One or more metatarsals displaced from the arch. Might definitely have him out for the season.

This is going to be a pivotal season for Muschamp.

Either he gets the team to play better or the naysayers in the press will take over and create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I personally think USC is where Will proves himself as a head coach.
