Even after suffering some injuries, Dawn has brought together another great team. I hated the loss to Texas. Texas had managed to beat us last season there in Texas but we beat them here and in both the SEC and NCAA tourneys.
I have tickets for the game this Thursday and was really expecting this game to decide who might be the SEC's best this season.
But yesterday Texas lost to LSU. Being LSU had already lost UK and Vandy, both good teams this season, I was not sure how good they may be. Apparently pretty good to beat Texas.
I know Texas is going to be playing super hard Thursday to keep from losing again. Might make this be an even bigger match up.
It sure is good to have such a great team. I hope they can go a long way again this season. We have a lot of talent, and they seem to be getting better every game.

If we were to win this game both LSU and Texas would have 2 conference losses to our zero losses. It would put us in the driver's seat for the conference championship.
 
well hopefully, Tessa and Okot took some extra shots after the game yesterday. Both need to find their groove before the Texas game. It was good to see Latson back, even with the limited minutes. She looked good. Looking forward to seeing Tournebize getting some minutes here soon, hopefully.

I thought yesterday was their worst game of the year. Maybe they were looking ahead to Texas, I don't know. It says a lot when a team plays their worst game of the year and still beats the opponent by 22 points.
 
Dawn is a generational coach and each season is her best coaching job.

It's easy to take WBB's consistent success for granted because she makes it look easy, but it ain't.
 
They got Oklahoma, which is on a 3-game losing streak, tomorrow night in Norman. They will be playing hard to end their skid. And then Sunday they get to play Vandy here at home.
Vandy is undefeated and have beaten #6 LSU and #7 Michagan. They may give us a fight, but I do not see us losing here at home.

If we beat Vandy we'll certainly be in the driver's seat to win the conference. Oklahoma scares me more because we'll likely be a little flat for them, human nature type of thing.

Vandy will have our full attention.

You were right about that game. Glad we had such a great recovery against Vandy.
