If the Gamecocks are going to add another win to their bowl resume this upcoming week, they’ll need to pull an upset over the Florida Gators. South Carolina Sunday opened as a nine-point underdog to Florida, according to Circa Sports, which released its lines in the afternoon.
The book set the over/under at 56 1/2 points.
South Carolina (6-3, 3-3 SEC) was a 6.5-point favorite over Vanderbilt and they defeated the Commodores behind 492 yards of total offense. Florida (5-4, 2-4 SEC) defeated Texas A&M 41-24 on Saturday.
The Gamecocks and Gators are set for a 4 p.m. kickoff on SEC Network.
