That will never happen. There will always be a team/coach, Collective/Booster willing to pay to get players and plenty of players who will take the $ and run. I’m not sure how this will ever get corrected until it gets much worse.
My apologies if I triggered your sensitivities and I’m not a negative person, actually very much the opposite, just a realist about the potential of being relative on a consistent basis in MBB. Being delusional certainly helps when It comes to the men’s basketball program to think we’re always...
Never before nor nothing close after prove it. It was great, but it was an obvious fluke season. Sure, he wins with talent, which is what a coach is responsible for recruiting and developing. He didn’t and lost all momentum which was very unfortunate because I liked him and wanted him to be...
Frank was a good coach at times and others not very consistent. The F4 fun was a fluke, history proves that. I don’t think he should have been fired given the timing of things, but mostly because I had no confidence in the AD or the school being able to upgrade to the point we are consistently...
I like your optimism @GMB2USC23 but I’ll never be sold on the OL until I see it. Been told for years ‘this is the year’ of the OL and about that depth only to see us struggle. Last year we did improve with much of that attributed a better RB in Rocket, and an elusive QB. Running at will...
@GMB2USC23 and @AikenGameFan - I agree with both of your posts and you raise some excellent points. However, it seems that everything was basically fine and overlooked when the coaches, universities, conferences, tv networks, boosters, we‘re getting all the $. I’m not sure who should be paid...
@GMB2USC23 I agree. They played smart defensively and instead of coming after LS, they just zoned up and used their front. He never really pushed the ball downfield accurately and continued to take the dump off passes. LS looked confused and hesitant at times, almost human. The offense...
I don’t blame Rocket whatsoever. He’s had a season ending injury before and can‘t do much more to improve his NFL draft status by playing in the bowl game at a position that is prone to injury. I don’t know Kennard’s injury history but he has played himself into a top draft pick and has a ton...
