    It really defies the "stalemate" label with each side hammering the other with daily drone strikes. I don't know what we should call it, but no one is winning & both sides are taking a beating.

    That's not true. How does Russia win a war where they have had over 1 mil casualties? In 3.5 yrs of fighting, they've taken only a small portion of Ukraine, while daily Ukraine is striking deep into Russian territory with strikes. At this point, no one has won anything. Let's not forget that...

    Dictators don't like being dictated to. Putin still has to save face. I don't see an off ramp for him. I would not be surprised if Putin drags this on hoping for some kind of "win". Any concession makes him look weak and tarinishes any legacy he may have had. It wouldn't surprise me to see us...
