Last Wed. night I woke up very dizzy and nauseous. Could not get up and walk I kept stumbling and had to crawl to bathroom. After waiting to see if it would go away, it just seemed to get worse. I had my wife call an ambulance. Got to the ER and was still vomiting. They did a CT because I had fallen and hit my head. They saw an Infarction and admitted me. The next day they did an MRI and confirmed I had a stroke.

Thanks be to God there was no paralysis. But being it was on my cerebellum, I have lots of vertigo.
They say eventually that should go away. They put me on 6 new daily meds.

I guess I am getting Old. Last month they did an x-ray of my knee because of persistent pain. I thought I had hurt it because I started jogging again in January. Turns out I have severe Osteoarthritis. They are doing an MRI on the 19th to find out if I need knee replacement to stop the pain. Being I am on blood thinners, that will not happen soon.

I Thank God for every day, but did not know all this would start at 60 yo. My dizziness has gone down so maybe I can comment more on here.

Bad news/good news event. Bad news that it happened at all, but good news in that it could have been so much worse. Sending you good thoughts.

On a side note, I always heard that running can kill you :)

A co-worker had a mild stroke this past December and my neighbor had one a few years ago after his second Moderna Covid shot.

Both are around 70, but are somewhat active and are okay now. My mom died from one back in 2018. She was 82 and used to walk a lot until she got some serious RA from lyme disease about 10-15 years before she died.

Glad you are okay.
