This program is in deep trouble. We were tossed around like rag dolls last night. Their QB outplayed our "projected 1st round pick" last night. It's now a trend we're seeing.

Look at how well Coached Vandy was/is with their roster full of 3* players.

Look at how well Pavia played vs how Sellers plays. Pavia executed plays to perfection at a high rate of speed, determination and a damn near reckless attitude.

We seem soft both mentally and physically. It seems like every 2-3 plays we have someone lying on the field. We continue to make stupid plays and stupid mistakes in every game.

The play calling is simply baffling. We insist on running when football strategy dictates we should throw and vice a versa. The first and goal at the 2 was a prime example. Put Addaway in there and run straight ahead 4 times. We either score a TD or they take over at the half foot line.

We can't tackle for shit, I swear my 90 y/o mother could run up the middle for 3 yards on this D.

That many penalties is simply inexcusable. What do we do when we're at practice? I texted my brother at one point and posed the question, "Do we even practice tackling?" He responded, "I hope not." Think about his response for a minute.

If Beamer is going to continue coaching here he's going to have to make some drastic changes in the staff. The first place to start better be the OC. Scoring 20 points a game isn't going to win you many games in today's college football world.

I'm not sure we can win 5 games at this point and this is Beamer's 5th year which should be a "breakout" year. It's a damn shame what we put on the field last night. We have talent up and down the roster and don't know what to do with it.

I thought it was a combination of post-concussion timidity, which is natural, plus Shula trying something different with him since beginning of the season.

Lots of 4* talent on both sides of the ball that looked clueless. Kinda looked liked Muschamp's team during his last season here when there were internal issues between the players and one or two individual coaches.

The young WRs were the bright spots. I think we executed another TE pass as well. OL recruiting has been good for a while now. Not great but better than teams that push them around. We cannot develop them for some reason or put a cohesive unit out there. Someone is always injured and they appear heavy footed and slow. No fight.
Interior DL has been an issue for a while now and it’s exposed with physical running teams. We have jackrabbit DEs that rely on the speed rush but they get pushed around otherwise. LBs and Safeties like to shoulder bump and not wrap up. Plenty of speed but thin and poor technique

Sellers may have been playing too early since the concussion but he has been tentative since the Clemson game when his hype peaked. He misses on too many open WRs still and now lacks the tackle breaking elusiveness we expected. OC does call the plays but doesn’t coach the dual threat QB to retreat and take a 20 yd sack.

14 penalties mixed around all 3 phases makes me think it’s all a coaching thing. I’m not sure what changes Beamer can or will make, however I have little confidence in him being able to upgrade any coaching position. Good assistants probably aren’t lining up to come here. Maybe Beamers best years to this year are who we will always be and we need to appreciate the better ones more.

A bumpy 1st year with a new OC, great Year 2, then a bad Year 3 through two, possibly 3 OCs with some crappy D thrown in sporadically for good measure has been the pattern with Shane's teams since he's been here.

Textbook Beamer team this year. The team will improve after midseason enough to be respectable. Sellers has to grow a little and make better decisions to really be in the Heisman conversation. The team improvement also may happen sooner this year because the quality of recruits this year is the highest since the 33-6 years under Spurrier. I really think that's our ace in the hole this year, but it hasn't happened yet.
