$9.00 for a watermelon, wtf? What happened to the $1.69 watermelons? Now I haven't bought a whole watermelon in a couple of years -- usually just buying some small, chunked (overpriced) sections from the produce prep areas, but somehow I missed that price jump on 'melons.
Reclassifying and coming in early seems to be a really hard process for most kids, that first year. Whether it emotional or physical maturity, that's such a big jump in level of competition. It usually pays dividends for their second season, but that first year could be tough.
My wife and I are on the T-Mobile Magenta Max 55+ plan, and have been pretty pleased. If you want to go cheap, I'd recommend either Visible or Mint. We were on Visible for about 5 years (they operate off of the Verizon network) and I believe Mint has recently been bought by T-Mobile.

SC had done a really good job the past three weeks in improving their on-ball defense. They are doing a really good job in keeping their bodies between the ball and the basket, primarily by chesting up and not using their hands. Hopefully they continue that level of play tonight if Auburn is...
I used to like to listen to Coach Martin's pressers. I thought he was thoughtful and never shied away from answering questions. I believe I like listening to Coach Paris' pressers even more. He is very articulate and explains his statements and answers extremely well. He comes across as a...
