Just to try and keep track of roster options...
On current team: Ugusuk, Butler, Scott and Federiko (total 4)
Still unknown: CMB and Stute (total 2)
High school recruits: Ellis, Walker, Polk and Assemain (total 4)
Portal transfers: Eaglestaff and Essandoko (total 2)
So we still have 3-5...
Looks like another basketball commitment: https://www.si.com/college/southcarolina/basketball/4-star-transfer-treysen-eaglestaff-s-commitment-to-south-carolina-what-it-means-for-the-gamecocks-01jqkw6z33yx
Appears to be a really good shooting guard.
Yeah, and that 700+ number was just in the first 24 hours of the portal opening. It's up over 1,000 players now, and more will be entering as teams get bounced from the Tourney. Apparently Indiana has lost the entire team through either end of eligibility or transfer portal -- 0 scholarship...

The Texas Tech pitcher, NiJaree Canady, that the Gamecocks beat yesterday, is supposedly the highest NIL paid woman in college softball...rumored to be making $1 million this season.
And that also opens them up for criticism. It is demonstrably apparent that SpaceX could have brought them home. I don't have the facts, so I don't know the reason the decision was made to not bring them home earlier. The reason NASA didn't bring them down may have been funding, no budget for...
Wow, got swept in a three game series by a total of 3 runs. Hopefully, our team takes away a big dose of validation from this series. They can legitimately play with the best team in the country.
Oh my poor eyes, I watched the Texas and LSU game also. It was like watching a rock fight. As long as SC contains Booker and keeps Harmon from shooting that 15-foot jumper, Gamecocks should handle them. Of course officials can always determine the outcome of a game.
