    Got her finished. Shown in the colors of the VF-61 Jolly Rogers onboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVB-42) circa 1949. It looks black, but it's actually just a very dark blue.

    Model kits were toys for me back in the day and you can't have imaginary dogfights against Japs and Jerries with rockets under the wing. LOL

    Got the ordnance hung. I'm usually do WW2 aircraft with no hung ordnance. It's hard to do it without screwing up the paint, but you just have to be patient.

    Finally was able to resume the build. The decals could be a little thicker (had a couple fold under and had to fix them with a toothpick and little cussin') and the landing gear is kinda tricky.
