    Just for some context, casualties from the Civil War are estimated to be between 650,000-725,000 soldiers. This is a staggering number for just one side.

    If I'm a NATO country, I would be really pissed at Spain, who I believe was the only country to not commit to 5% for military spending. Regardless of level of GDP commitment, the proof is in the follow through -- something the European countries have historically not met.
