Mayo Bowl announces 'ambassador' NIL deal for player from winning team
Players from South Carolina and North Carolina have more incentive to play well and lead their team to victory thanks to a NIL ambassador deal announced by Duke’s Mayo Bowl.
The bowl will work with Opendorse, a name, image and likeness platform, to use participants in the game to tell the story of this year’s bowl experience.
As part of the opportunities to promote the bowl, it will have the first ever “Duke’s Mayo Bowl Ambassador” named from the winning team. The player will be offered a $5,000 contract to help continue to tell the story of the Duke’s Mayo Bowl into the offseason via social media posts and other opportunities.
