@ Vandy ... We'll show a little more than we have in years past since it's a SEC team, but I look for us to do just enough to get the W and go home. W
vs. ECU ... opening game for the new board ... opening game after a huge season ... just opening game at Williams Brice ... oh and some of the "we thought we should have won" talk from last year. We put one on the pirates. W
vs. UAB ... another touch up game that we're able to iron out a few more wrinkles with. W
vs. Mizzou ... After the SEC media day comments by T.J. Moe our defense is going to be amped up (if they'll need that with all the "this defense isn't that good" talk). I'll give them some credit and say Mizzou will get theirs, but it won't be enough. Their Dline is TINY and our Offense will have a field day. W
@ Kent ... Always a scary game for us, and the week before the UGA show down. I think we get a big scare here. We'll drop a few balls to keep it interesting, but I think we'll squeek it out like we tend to do. W
vs. UGA ... Its going to be between 2 undefeated teams I have a feeling, and it's going to be a dog ... I mean a cock fight. This is about the time that UGA turns it up a notch. However, this is the game that Marcus LOVES ... W
@ LSU ... starting the 2nd half of the season and going on the road to a very tough place to play. If our receivers can step up and if we're healthy I think we can do it. However, we normally have a key player or two a little banged up around this time. TOSS UP
@ Uf ... Florida is back on the rise, but the talent I just don't think is there yet. For a change I can see we have superior talent and depth. Spurrier wins again in The Swamp ... just from the other sideline ... again. W
vs. Tenn ... Doley's seat could be getting real warm about this time of year, or either he can have the troops believing him in and playing up. Either their backs are against the door or they're getting back to competing in the East. This is going to be a nail bitter. In close games, the push goes to the home team (no that doesn't count for the LSU game). W
vs. Arky ... The biggest question mark on the schedule I think. Arky is lucky with all the Penn State stuff going on, because it gets them out of the news. A lot of distractions around the program and a coach that nobody is sure on. They still have some really good talent, and have just had our number of late ... HOWEVER, this game could come down to who goes to Atlanta, and IF it does you know Spurrier will remind the guys what happened last year. TOSS UP
vs. Wofford ... We'll give up a ton of yards on the ground because we don't know, and won't really work on the option. They'll keep it close enough to drive the fans crazy, but in the end the talent wins. W
@ Clemson ... The Rant ... 'nuff said. 4 straight and this may not be pretty for the tiggers. I have a feeling Spurrier proves a point. W
With our defensive front I think we'll have a chance in every game. The receivers are going to have to step up, and if they can this Offense can do BIG things this year. A 10+ win regular season can be done, but we're going to need guys to give it their all every down or every game. I think it can and will be done
