Class of 2014 OL Michael Leagan, Jr. (6-2 285) of La Porte, TX has family in South Carolina and is showing interest in USC and Clemson. Clemson has shown more interest than the Gamecocks but both schools have contacted Leagan. "South Carolina is like a second home for me so it wouldn't be like going away to school," said Leagan. "My grandmother lives in Lexington and my dad graduated from Brookland-Cayce." Leagan is also hearing from Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Florida State, Kentucky, SMU, Washington State, North Texas, Michigan and Houston among others. He does not have a leader but named Arizona State, FSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Kentucky among his favorites. He is considering visiting the two Palmetto State schools should he receive more interest from either progam. "I've gotten letters from USC and talked to Clemson some," he said. Leagan will attend a junior day at North Texas. "That's all I know right now," he said. "I'll get together with my famiy to decide on other visits and camps for the summer." His father would like to see Leagan return to South Carolina where a majority of the family resides. He is waiting on his first offer.
