four-star defensive back Jaquan Johnson 5-foot-10, 175-pound (Miami, Fla./Killian). The Florida native currently has 13 offers to his name, one of which is from the Gamecocks. At this early stage in Johnson’s recruitment no leaders have emerged.
“I wouldn’t say any schools are sticking out just yet,” Johnson said. “I’m still open. I’m listening to everyone who wants to recruit me.”
Jaquan Johnson has not visited South Carolina yet, but the four-star prospect is hoping that a visit will take place sometime in the near future.
“I want to get up there and visit. I’ve heard some good things and I like watching them on TV so I’m definitely interested in them,” said Johnson, who has also been impressed by South Carolina’s ability to produce NFL defensive backs.
Johnson also has offers from Florida, Miami, Cincinnati, Clemson, FAU, Florida State, Hawaii, Marshall, Middle Tennessee State, Ole Miss and USF. Four-star DB Jaquan Johnson has 13 early offers.
