The Gamecocks got a great start to its 2016 recruiting class Saturday as Lawrenceville (Ga.) Archer 2016 4 star athlete Kyle Davis 6'3"220lbs has committed to South Carolina.
"It feels pretty great to be a Gamecock!" Davis said following making his commitment official Saturday evening by talking to head coach Steve Spurrier. "South Carolina just felt like home and plus Coach Spurrier puts guys into the league."
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound rising junior chose the Gamecocks over 15 other offers, including Florida and Miami. , Davis is considered the No. 25 prospect in Georgia, No. 18 athlete in the country and No. 246 prospect in the 2016 class.
