2019 Summerville QB set for South Carolina recruiting camp

June 03, 2017

Jonathan Bennett, a rising junior from Summerville (S.C.) High School, is set to be among the South Carolina prospects visiting for camp on Saturday.

Appalachian State, Charlotte and Costal Carolina have already offered the 6-foot-1, 185-pound dual-threat prospect who trains with former Gamecock quarterback Perry Orth.

Recently offered 2019 safety Jeremiah Gray (Charlotte, N.C.) will also attend Day 1 of the Will Muschamp Football Camp. His father, Derwin Gray, played for the Carolina Panthers after going to BYU.

Also added to the list of confirmed campers is 2019 Belton-Honea Path (S.C.) High School defensive tackle Tysheik Galloway. Galloway, like Bennett and several other of the prospects who will be in Columbia on Saturday, participated in the EPT Showcase last month.

The camp begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 3 o’clock.
