Well our lead off guy doesn’t have a hit in the series.  Team seems to be in a slump for large parts of games.   Starting pitchers dominate us.

The South Carolina Gamecocks fall to the Mississippi Rebels 7-3 in Game 2 of the best-of-3 series. Brannon Jordan (4-3) takes the loss, pitching 5.0 innings with 4 hits and 4 runs - all earned - with 4 strikeouts and 4 walks. He threw 95 pitches. Andrew Peters came in relief for 3.0 innings allowing 3 earned runs on 4 hits as well, with 4 strikeouts and 0 walks. The Gamecocks allowed 3 home-runs in the game.

The Gamecocks had 7 hits on 34 at-bats. The runs were driven in by Colin Burgess who went 3 for 4 with a solo home run, and George Callil who was 1 for 3 with a double, and 2 RBIs....
