Wilson (6-5, 214) had been a strong prediction by the online recruiting experts to go to North Carolina, but things started changing over the past 2-3 days. Wilson has a strong offer list of Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Maryland, Michigan State, Mississippi, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia, Indiana, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and Pittsburgh among others.

With Wilson's pledge, it brings the South Carolina 2021 class to 15 total commitments...

Very strange to see recruiting news as the 2020 schedule is up in the air, but good news nonetheless.  That's a really good area of the country for recruiting if we could gain a foothold.

We seem to be moving in the right direction there - with Wilson's commitment added to the one already from ILB Steele, and we are in good standing with two others in 4* WDE Kelvin Gilliam, and high 3* CB Damond Harmon. No guarantee we'll get them all, but whoever is recruiting that area has been putting in some good work for us....
