2022 OT Prospect Ryan Brubaker (6-6, 280)
The Gamecocks secured their 3rd OL commitment of the cycle in 4-star OT Ryan Brubaker of Cocalico High in Denver, PA. Brubaker had scheduled his announcement to take place on July 4th, but apparently couldn't wait that long, and went ahead and announced Tuesday:
Brubaker had narrowed his final list to five schools, and completed official visits for all of them: Stanford, Penn State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina. The Gamecocks were the 3rd official visit on June 11th, with Tennessee and Vanderbilt rounding out the five on June 18th and 25th respectively.
Brubaker's comitment makes 11 total thus far for the 2022 cycle, and moves the class ranking to 27th nationally and 10th in conference per 247sports.com, and 21st nationally and 8th in the SEC per Rivals.com.
