Texas WR prospect Landon Samson committed to the South Carolina football program today. Samson (6-1, 180) out of Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX) chose the Gamecocks over offers from Nebraska, Baylor, Colorado, Boise St., and UCF among others.

Samson was recruited by Justin Stepp. Samson is a composite 3-star on 247sports.com and is an All-America Bowl selection - Per Wes Mitchell of Rivals.com's Gamecock Central: "Samson is a highly highly productive receiver playing in highest level of Texas football - he was the Texas District 4-6A Offensive Player of the Year with 74 receptions for 1,293 yds and 15 TDs as a junior". Samson's commitment brings the 2022 class to 12 commits, and bumps it's ranking to 19th nationally, and 7th in the Southeastern Conference per 247sports, 20th nationally and 8th in the SEC per Rivals.....
