Went to the store on Harbison Blvd. Saturday after the basketball game.  It's where Books-A-Million used to be.

Man, that place is just sick and it was packed.  Nice to see a retail store the Internet hasn't ruined for a change.

They have lots of neat old stuff like books, comic books, CDs, DVDs, and even old guitars.  Two full bins of old LPs.

Nice to see something that has filled the void of Manifest shutting down for good last year.

Picked up the boxed set of HBO's The Pacific series, the boxed set of Ken Burns' Civil War, and two seasons of the old Hawaii 5-0 series for about $80.00.

Honestly that is the key to brick and mortar these days. You gotta cater to a niche that is tough to mimic on the web. Cool places like that, where shoppers can see the items first hand, and possibly get something that you might not find anywhere else are the types of places I will go out of my way to walk through.

It also fills the void of garage sales and allows people to buy these things and then turn them for a profit on eBay

There’s a void of garage sales?
Garage sales always confused me. I mean nobody is actually selling garages at these things. Instead they are selling the shit that's in their garages. Well dude, I'm gonna need a garage first before I can buy your stuff.
