OL Jesus Gibbs 6'4" 265lbs of Dumfries, VA announced a commitment to USC Saturday a day after arriving on campus for a Will Muschamp summer camp. Gibbs picked the Gamecocks from his announced final 10 of Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Maryland, Rutgers, Connecticut, West Virginia and Navy.
Gibbs had been favoring Virginia for much of his recruiting but the hard push by Will Muschamp and offensive line coach Eric Wolford turned him culminating in Saturday’s announcement.
Gibbs gives USC 13 commitments for the 2018 class and the fifth for the offensive line.
