The Gamecocks start a string of seven road games in its next eight contests on Wednesday night (May 3) as the Gamecocks visit Rock Hill for a midweek game against Winthrop. First pitch is at 6 p.m. at the Winthrop Ballpark.

Wednesday’s game will be streamed on ESPN+. All games also will be broadcast on the Gamecocks Sports Network from Learfield with Derek Scott and Tommy Moody on the call.

SERIES VS. WINTHROP
Carolina holds a 24-7 series advantage on Winthrop heading into Wednesday’s game. The Gamecocks defeated the Eagles, 19-3, on Feb. 22 as Ethan Petry homered twice and drove in four and Cole Messina was 3-for-5 with four RBIs in the win.
