USC is strongly in the mix with one of the top quarterbacks in the country in 4 star Kevin Olsen (6-3 196) of Wayne, NJ. Olsen and his father, who is also his coach, will visit the Gamecocks April 12th. According to Wayne Hills High School assistant coach John Goldstein, USC, North Carolina, Miami, Auburn, Wisconsin and Arkansas are the final six schools with Olsen who wants to make his decision before his senior season. Next week the Olsens will also visit North Carolina. Olsen’s brother Greg is a tight end with the Panthers, so they will be in Charlotte to visit him as part of their trip. Last week Olsen visited Miami and Auburn. He will also visit Wisconsin and possibly Arkansas. “He’s liked all the visits so far,” Goldstein said. “He’s looking for coaching stability, somebody he can trust, and the quarterback coach will be big. He wants to go somewhere where they can get him to the next level.” Last season Olsen passed for 1686 yards and 20 touchdowns. “He’s got everything they are looking for,” Goldstein said. “He can make every pass, he’s got experience, and he’s a winner.” link: http://www.goupstate.com/article/20120403/PSPORTS02/120409915/-1/PSPORTS
