Thornwell made an unofficial visit to USC Saturday for the football game. He has scheduled an official visit to NC State for October 12th and expects to set one for USC for the following weekend. Thornwell's coach at Oak Hill said Friday he felt USC was in strong shape with the former Lancaster standout.
