Wow, seems like Lawson had more triples in that clip than he had his entire career at SC. Wish him well!
Sindarius got much better with 3s once he got to the NBA, too.
I think part of it is because they don't have the NCAA 20-hour practice limit and academic schedule as roadblocks to better performance once they get to the NBA.
It also may just be better coaching on the shooting side, too, which is why I am excited to see if we shoot better under Lamont.
I think a touring G league that played in the major college cities would draw people. It wouldn't be the same attendance disaster as the USFL was this year if teams put some thought into where they wanted to play.
The same for the WNBA 3-on-3 teams. Have some exhibition games to get the people back in the arenas for the basketball games once we get our heads above water with Covid.
The idea is not so far-fetched for those of us old enough to remember the packed arenas for the Globetrotters' games back in the day. The alumni players would take the place of Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal in my analogy.
