RB AJ Turner of Centreville, VA said in a text message Monday night he will be announcing his college choice on Tuesday with the time still to be determined. And Turner once again stated all five finalists…USC, Clemson, Virginia, Michigan State and Ohio State are still in picture. This is the same information Turner provided Sunday night. But there were several internet reports on Monday that Turner’s announcement would be on Thursday. And a Rivals.com story published Monday stated he was down to USC, Virginia and Michigan State. Turner is in Oregon at The Opening and will be making his announcement on an ESPN outlet during the on field activities Tuesday.
DE Darian Roseboro of Lincolnton, NC Monday night announced a shortened list of six down from the 11 he had previously noted. Roseboro said his top six, in no order, are Clemson, NC State, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Michigan. USC was one of the five schools cut by Roseboro.
OL Stephen Haralambis of Chapin is being recruited as a center. He also plays defensive tackle and had 87 tackles and 4 sacks last season. He camped at Wofford, Appalachian State and Georgia Southern. He also has visited Appalachian and will visit Georgia Southern July 18th. He also plans to visit Wofford and Coastal Carolina.
