An SEC school could potentially add a late addition to its 2016 recruiting classJuly 15, 2016
Mykelle McDaniel has received the news he’s been waiting on for several months, and because of that one SEC school could possibly add a late addition to its 2016 recruiting class.
McDaniel, a 3-star defensive end from Grayson High School (Loganville, Ga.), is now a full-qualifier and is clear to sign with any school that is interested in him.
According to former Grayson assistant coach Kenyatta Watson, at least 10 schools have already reached out to McDaniel, but the recruit does not want to name which schools have shown interest just yet.
As he was working through his academic issues, McDaniel took official visits to Alabama, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Mississippi State earlier this year. It’s still unclear whether or not those schools are still interested in McDaniel at this time.
McDaniel was rated the No. 23 strong-side defensive end in the nation in the Class of 2016.
