USC will be at full strength defensively when they face LSU Saturday night. Defensive lineman Akeem Auguste and defensive tackle Byron Jerideau were both considered iffy this week because of ankle injuries, but defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward said both of them practiced Thursday and both will be available this weekend.
“I don’t know if they’re quite 100 percent, but I think they’re close,” said Ward.“I know Akeem will play,” continued Ward. “(Defensive line coach) Brad (Lawing) will determine whether Jerideau will play, but I’m sure he’s going to play.”
J.T. Surratt will get the start in fron of Jerideau Saturday. Auguste was already coming off the bench and remains behind Jimmy Legree at corner back.
