Bama jumps Georgia for 1 in AP Poll
October 2, 2022Voters in the AP poll were swept away by Alabama’s performance in their win at Arkansas Saturday and elevated the Crimson Tide to #1 in their poll this week. The Crimson Tide received 25 first-place votes to 28 for the Bulldogs but totaled 1523 points to 1521 for Georgia who had to rally to win at Missouri Saturday night. The other 10 first-place votes went to Ohio State which remains third. Michigan is fourth and Clemson fifth.
Kentucky, Gamecocks' opponent this Saturday, fell from 7th to 13th with their loss at Ole Miss Saturday.
