Former Gamecock AC Skyler Meade's Troy team is tied for 7th with 29 homers. Troy was also undefeated until getting beat by Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Great start to the season, no doubt about it. Home runs are great, but ultimately I don't really care what generates the runs. If the pitching staff keeps the ERA down and the WHIP down (currently 4th best in the nation), we'll be just fine even if the home runs aren't as prolific.
