1. I don't have a definite, but usually when a player is given an official release the odds of him returning is very slim. I personally think Gill is done.

2. I think the news on Harris is better, but is still a somewhat fluid situation. Jury is still out.

3. I think it's very fair for a school to be able to do that. When a player signs his LOI he makes a commitment to that team. There has to be some type of penalty for it, thus the sit-out rule. The school should also have a say in it so they are not left completely out in the cold. I know if I was a coach I would hate to bust my behind to work with a kid to make him better so that he can go to a rival school and beat me twice a year.

4. Other than that rumor about RJ Slawson (which I think someone ran with what an unreliable source said) I do not think anyone else is being talked about leaving. I think right now it's Gill and Harris being talked about.

5. I think it is important for both Martin and his staff to build solid relationships with high school and AAU coaches in the state and bordering states. He is closer to south Florida where he's from so he could have some more success recruiting players from that area here than he had at KSU. The biggest thing is winning recruiting battles with the "big" schools in our area. He had Kansas and Texas as big rivals in that area, but here he has Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, and others to battle with. If he can win a few of those battles and find some diamonds in the rough he can be VERY successful here. In my opinion, I think he is very capable of doing it, but it's not going to be easy.
