Class of 2015 defensive lineman Shameik Blackshear (Bluffton/Bluffton) visited the doctor on Tuesday afternoon and had X-rays on his injured knee. The X-ray showed no fractures or breaks but he’s not necessarily out of the woods yet.
Blackshear is going to have to return to the doctor in the coming days to have an MRI done on his knee, which he injured in his team’s game on Friday night. At that point, he will know the full extent of his injury.
