Bluffton with two to watch

Ken Cribb has done a remarkable job building a powerful program at Bluffton and college recruiters will be beating a path to his door the next couple of seasons. For the 2014 class Cribb has DL KJ Ford (6-1 270). And for the 2015 class, Cribb will have one of the nation's top prospects in DE Shameik Blackshear (6-5 230). Last season Ford had 62 tackles with 14 tackles for loss and 4 sacks. "He's explosive," Cribb said. "When he pulls the trigger, ooh wee. He can cross two holes in the blink of an eye. I don't think there's a better tackle in the state." Ford attended USC's junior day and has been to games at USC and Clemson. NC State and East Carolina also are showing interest. Newberry is his first offer. Blackshear also was at USC;s junior day and has early offers from the Gamecocks, Clemson, Florida, NC State and North Carolina. Cribb said USC is his current favorite. "He has grown like a weed," Cribb said. "He's so athletic, he could be a tight end. He has great speed and quickness and is very athletic." Last season Blackshear had 97 tackles with 17 tackles for loss and 5 sacks
