Yes....I remember spinning the dial on an AM station several times to hear the game and when you heard Bob's voice, you know you found it. A lot of old school Gamecock fans listened to him. Such great memories!
Exactly, all of the above. growing up I remember listening to Bob Fulton calling SC games on the radio and reading Leonard's Losers for his "prognostications" on SC games. Great memories.
Back in the 80's the games weren't on TV (Except once in a blue moon). The only way to follow the games was via Bob Fulton on the Radio. Then you watch the local news in the evening for highlights, or the Sunday coaches show. It was really only in the 2000's that the games started being televised more regularly. And even then some games were only on PPV, or there was that one year where both Carolina and Clemsons fans had to write in to ESPN and beg to pick up the game.

Leonard's Losers...wow, used to love to listen to his radio version as well. His use of nicknames and related stuff was funny plus he had the perfect voice for it. I remember when he passed away his son tried to keep it going but he just didn't have the voice to pull it off.
