Bolden ready to play after beneficial ineligible season

It was hard to experience not entering a game for an entire season, but South Carolina guard Jair Bolden has no doubt in his mind that sitting out due to his transfer from George Washington helped him as a basketball player.
Ineligible due to the NCAA rule of transferring from one division one program to another, Bolden was limited to just being a practice player for the 2018-19 season. However, he excelled in the role according to his head coach Frank Martin and teammates. Now preparing for a season in which he can step on the court at Colonial Life Arena, the redshirt junior know he’ll benefit from his year of playing behind the scenes.
