The Bowl games are as big a part of college football as the pigskin itself; however, if you want to see them this year, you’ll need to bring your credit card.
Time Warner and Fox Sports are reportedly switching the bowl games to a pay per view format, with prices ranging from $2.99 (Gildan New Mexico Bowl) to $19.99 (BCS title game).
The backlash is already beginning, with message boards popping up all over the web, but it seems it will only get worse. Beginning in 2013, you will need to purchase a package for specific conference games, with traditional rivalries begging a larger cost.
