Fitz left for Penn State in the off-season. One thing about people changing jobs, I believe you can always go home, and no one should fault you at all. From what I remember hearing, he was born or raised in Pennsylvania, and had ties of education to guys that were there now.

But of course, after today’s rulings, I wouldn’t be surprised if anyone that could leave does. We have a strength and conditioning coach for football, but he was once the director of strength and conditioning for a whole school. Its a matter of philosophy, as a university, this is our approach to training. Any word on whether or not our university is interested in something like that, or if he would be open to coming back in such a capacity? Is it worth it?

I like coach Fitz and I wish him well. He made his choice and now he has to live with it. We have a good S & C coach on staff and as far as I know we have no openings. If we ever have an opening and coach Fitz wants to apply I think the university would welcome him back with open arms.
