Camp visit helps USC with Junior DB Terry Godwin08/19/13

5 star Junior DB Terry Godwin (6-0 170) of Hogansville, GA participated in USC's Black Magic Camp last month and the experience proved positive from a Gamecock standpoint. "It was great," Godwin said. "The coaches, we all got along great. They treated my mom real well. It was awesome." Godwin also got to Georgia this summer. USC and Clemson are two of his offers along with Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Ole Miss, North Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia. Godwin does not have favorites but his USC visit helped the Gamecocks' cause. "I like them but I'm still open to a lot more schools," he said. That includes Clemson which he has not yet visited. Godwin said he does not have any early season game visits planned at this point. Last season at cornerback he had 4 interceptions and 49 tackles. He also plays wide receiver.
