Recruiters will be visiting with 4 star QB Kevin Olsen 6'3" 195lbs of Wayne, NJ starting this Friday when Miami is in. USC recruiter GA Mangus is expected in next week according to Olsen’s coach and father Chris. Auburn is set to visit May 11th and Wisconsin also will be in within a couple of weeks. Olsen visited all four of those schools and they have separated from the rest of the pack. “I think all the schools he’s looking at are a good fit,” Chris Olsen said. “In no order, Miami, USC, Auburn and Wisconsin are kind of where he is right now.” Olsen will not be taking any more visits. “He’s got to do some thinking,” the coach said. “He wants to make the decision before the season starts. There’s no favorite. He’s really open. He had good times at all the places.”

Olsen Earns Trip to Elite 11 Finals

Kevin Olsen came to New York as the favorite to snag an invite to the Elite 11 finals in California, and the staff chose him over some stiff competition on Saturday.

The Elite 11 competition hit New York City on Saturday, and the stars came out to Randall's Island Park. With a pair of four-star prospects in attendance as well as a rising three-star, the headliner was still the one who made it to the Elite 11 finals in California.

Wayne Hills (NJ) quarterback Kevin Olsen.

His father, Chris, calls his game "polished," and the staff at the Elite 11 felt the same way.

After the event, Scout caught up with Olsen to discuss how he felt against Brogan Roback, Connor Mitch and company as well as what he is anticipating going forward both with the competition and his final choice between Wisconsin, Miami, South Carolina and Auburn.

Mangus gets another shot with Olsen today

USC quarterbacks coach GA Mangus is scheduled to visit with QB Kevin Olsen of Wayne, NJ Thursday according to Olsen’s father, who is also his coach. Mangus was in New Jersey to speak at a clinic Wednesday according to Chris Olsen. Alabama, Connecticut and Maryland were by the school Wednesday. Miami will be in next week along with Auburn. The top four with Olsen remain USC, Miami, Auburn and Wisconsin. “I think he likes what he’s seen and feels very comfortable at all four of those schools,” Coach Olsen said. “GA is coming in and we’re going to talk. We had a great, great visit with him (at USC) and he’ll reiterate a few things and just chat. He’s not going to throw. GA was at the state championship game (last December) so he’s seen him throw.” Coach Olsen said the decision from his son will come sooner than previously noted. “He’s not going to go past the end of school which for us is June 22nd,” he said. There is no leader for Olsen according to his father.
